Do you sell anything under £100

How can I get a quote on a garment to be made ?

please e-mail or post us a sketch and we will respond with comments and possibly further questions.
Perhaps you have seen your DREAM Outfit on the Red Carpet or on the cover off your favorite magazine ....
in which case scanned photos or magazine cuttings would be useful.
However we will NOT COPY.
It just helps us understand you and what you like.
Puts us on the same wavelength so to speak, before we begin.

Include thoughts on fabric , pockets , buttons , fit , shoulder pads , bra cups  etc:
actually any information you think may be helpful.

The pattern I make for you takes 3-5 hours because it is bespoke and custom made to your unique measurements.

For a ballpark figure right now visit our Bespoke  Quotes

Do check out our    SKETCH BOOK    &   our  PORTFOLIO  for further inspiration.

Do visit our Quotes menu for a ballpark figure now.

Can I get something made if I am on a tight budget ?

Not really.  Custom made things take time, even patterns.
If you were on a tight budget, buying from our ready to wear collection would be the way to go.

What if the garment you make me doesn't fit exactly ?

There is a slight chance should you buy via the internet ,
that your item may need to be slightly adjusted by an alterations person in your own area.
So the price I quote Internet clients is generally around 15% lower than what I charge clients in my area who come in person.

Do you do men's wear and children’s' clothes ?

Yes, we do.

The price quote still depends on the details of the style.

Please remember children's clothes can be just as time-consuming as adults.

How should I care for my Artwear pieces

To fully enjoy your new Artwear products, make sure you read the item's label and follow the care instructions.

Here are a few more tips for keeping your items looking their very best:

For Dark Denim : Add 1/2 cup of white vinegar to the water when you wash your jeans the very first time.
This helps to set the dark dye in the fabric.
Always wash denim inside out, zipper up, to prevent excess wear and tear and delay fading.

For Ribbed Knits: To maintain an item's shape, wash it in cold water and dry flat.

For Silk Screened Items   or  items with Rhinestones or Glitter : Wash items inside out, and lay flat to dry or dry using cool air.
Use fabric softener to keep the items soft.
Iron inside out when possible. ( or cover first with a cloth )

Always cover painted or decorated areas with a cloth before using a cool iron.

Your  Questions  Answered

You wrote:   "  Do you sell any thing for less than £100 ? "

Hello Paul.
Yes certainly many Artwear items can be made for under £100
Some of our Ready to Wear items sell for as low as £35
However Couture - Bespoke items are custom made to the clients exact specifications.
Several fittings and a great deal of time are involved.
Firstly we have to Sketch/Draw/Design the item onto paper for clients approval.
Then take accurate body measurements from which a paper pattern is drafted.
This is then made up in calico.
At the next fitting final alterations may be necessary for a glove like fit.
Then the pattern is altered accordingly.
All this before we even begin to cut or sew the final piece.
Many thanks for your question.
Enjoy your day.
